Durban City interim coach, Pitso Dladla
Durban City interim coach Pitso Dladla says he is still hopeful that the team will finish in the top 8 of the Premier Soccer League.
Dladla says Sunday’s five-two loss to Magesi FC was very disappointing.
He says that the team needs to improve, especially in defence. Durban City is currently in sixth position on the league table with 35 points after 25 matches.
However, the former Richards Bay assistant coach still believes the team is getting better overall and has enough time left in the season to recover.
“We should not worry too much about other teams; we need to focus on ourselves. As soon as we recover from these three consecutive defeats, it will be better for all of us. I believe that once we recover from this, we still stand a good chance of finishing in a strong position in the top 8,” he adds.
