Blitzboks defeat Argentina in Hong Kong
It’s taken 33 years of trying, but finally on the 50th anniversary of the Hong Kong sevens, South Africa can call themselves champions at the home of sevens rugby. The Blitzboks beat Argentina 35-7 in the final.

The team has been competing in Hong Kong since 1993, and after making the final for a fifth time, they finally won the only tournament to elude them on the sevens circuit.
The Blitzboks, the regular season champions, continue to boss proceedings in the Sevens world after winning the Hong Kong Sevens, the first leg of the world championships.
