Five people have been killed and six wounded following a shooting incident at a tavern in Zithobeni in Bronkhorstspruit in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Witnesses say two men entered the tavern and demanded that one of the patrons hand over his licenced firearm.
A shot went off and when the patrons ran outside, the suspects fired randomly, resulting in five fatalities and six injuries.
Police say the patron with a firearm was also shot and wounded and his firearm was taken.
A manhunt is underway for the suspects.
