The late Hosi Phylia N’wamitwa II
Senior government officials and traditional leaders are among the hundreds of mourners at the funeral service of the late senior traditional leader, Hosi Phylia N’wamitwa II at N’wamitwa village, outside Tzaneen in Limpopo.
Hosi N’wamitwa died, on Monday last week in a hospital, in Johannesburg. She has been accorded a category two special provincial funeral.

President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to deliver the eulogy. Deputy President, Paul Mashatile is also among the mourners. Hosi N’wamitwa will be buried during a private funeral, on Sunday afternoon.

“Everything is actually excellent, we have had the support of government, support of the community, the support of all the royalties in here. As you can look around here, you see the stage is ready for the beautiful gallant of our majesty, Hosi Dr. Phylia N’wamitwa II,” says Valoyi Royal Council Spokesperson, Professor David Mosoma.
