Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide following a fatal crash on the Du Toitskloof road near Paarl in the Boland, which claimed the lives of three people and left two others seriously injured.
Police spokesperson Wesley Twigg says the crash involved a single vehicle.
Twigg says no arrests have been made.
“Police members attended to the accident scene, where they found three adult victims who were declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel. The driver of the vehicle and another passenger were transported to medical facilities with serious injuries. The circumstances surrounding this fatal accident are under investigation “
