Leader of the National Coloured Congress and Member of Parliament Fadiel Adams has been formally charged with five counts related to alleged interference in a high-profile murder investigation.
The state alleges that Adams illegally met and interviewed accused persons in custody between November 2024 and January 2025. The accused individuals are linked to the murder of former ANC Youth League Secretary-General Sindiso Magaqa.
The matter was heard in the Pinetown Magistrates” Court and has been postponed to next Wednesday.
The charges were read out in court by an official.
