KZN Premier Thami Ntuli
KwaZulu-Natal Premier, Thami Ntuli, has called on those who are campaigning against undocumented migrations to do so within the confines of the law.
He noted that the current protests have been largely peaceful.
The government has condemned the circulation of what it called “fake videos and images” on social media, which some have described as recordings of attacks on foreign nationals in the country.
Addressing the media in Durban yesterday, Ntuli says, “We can defend the rule of law without abandoning human dignity. We can protect our communities without embracing hatred, and we can confront undocumented migration firmly without losing our constitution”.
