Three business owners have been shot at the Johannesburg CBD
Ethiopian nationals running businesses in the Johannesburg CBD say that they are being targeted.
This comes after the Gauteng Police have launched a manhunt for two masked gunmen who shot and killed three foreign national shop owners inside a fast-food outlet in the Joburg CBD.
The attack happened while the victims were having breakfast.
No arrests have been made as yet.
Human Rights Activist and Ethiopian businessman Hailey Shamebo believes that it was a planned hit.
“The mood is devastating to every immigrant community or society, including myself. I did not sleep since yesterday, the whole night I’m awake. No immigrant will close or leave the business in South Africa. This murder is planned genocide murder over the black Jewish Ethiopian business people, in South Africa.”
