An African National Congress (ANC) member in Limpopo has filed an urgent application in the High Court in Polokwane to interdict the 11th provincial conference.
The three-day conference is scheduled to begin on Friday.
According to information, Basil Mabasa is unhappy about the verification of delegates from Ward 10 Collins Chabane Sub-region arguing that it was procedurally irregular.
The branch general meeting (BGM) for verification of delegates was held in November last year.
Mabasa wants the conference to be stopped or the branch delegates to be allowed to participate in the conference.
The ANC is yet to comment.
