R34 between Hoopstad and Wesselsbron flooded after heavy rains.
Heavy rains have caused flooding on the R34 between Hoopstad and Wesselsbron, near Mizpah farm.
Free State Emergency Medical Services Spokesperson, Sipho Towa, has urged road users to exercise extreme caution and take extra precautions when traveling through the area.
Motorists are also advised to reduce speed when approaching flooded areas and to obey temporary erected warnings.
Emergency Services are on standby after two cars plunged into the flooded water on the R34 on Friday night.
Fortunately no injuries were reported.
EMS says warning signs have been erected in the area, however, some road users are continuing to ignore them which might lead to injuries or fatalities.
Motorists are advised to consider travelling during day time where possible.
