Stellenbosch FC will advance to the next stages of the Carling Knockout Cup.
Stellenbosch FC have advanced to the quarterfinals of the Carling Knockout Cup competition after beating Kaizer Chiefs 5-4 in a penalty shootout, in Cape Town.
In another first-round match of the competition, Richards Bay thumped Chippa United 4-1 to also advance to the quarterfinals of the Cup competition.
Meanwhile, the South African men’s Under-20 national football team will play their last group match at the FIFA World Cup in Chile this evening against the United States of America.
Amajita will be looking for their second win in Group E after thrashing New Caledonia 5-0 in their previous match, having lost their opening match 2-1 against France.
Star defender, Tylon Smith, believes the match will not be easy but they will give it their all to qualify for the knockout stage.
The Amajita-USA encounter kicks off at 22h00, South African time.
