Gauteng police say a taxi has been torched by unknown suspects in Pimville, Soweto.
No injuries have been reported and a case of malicious damage to property in being investigated.
The incident happened near Maponya Mall.
Residents have come out in their numbers near the mall after an e-hailing driver was killed in an arson attack and two other people were left wounded last night.
Two e-hailing vehicles were also set alight.
Police are monitoring the situation.
