Suspect in Gugulethu mass shooting stands before court.
A 35-year-old suspect, who is allegedly connected to the mass shooting that claimed the lives of seven men in Gugulethu, on the Cape Flats, last weekend, is due to appear in the Athlone Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.
Police spokesperson Wesley Twigg says police are still searching for a second assailant in connection with the shooting.
The victims, who were between 26 and 30 years old, were socialising in the kitchen when they were ambushed by unknown assailants.
