Mamelodi Sundowns has trounced Kaizer Chiefs 4-0 to progress to the Carling Knockout Cup semifinals at the FNB stadium this evening.
Richards Bay have also advanced to the Carling Knockout Cup semifinals with a 5-4 penalty shootout quarterfinal victory over Cape Town City at the King Zwelithini stadium in Durban.
The match was deadlocked goalless after extra time.
Meanwhile, South African women’s football second string team lost to Zambia 4-3 on penalty shootout in the COSAFA Women’s Championship final in Gqeberha. The two teams played to a goalles draw after exra time.
