File: North-West businessman Suliman Carrim
North-West businessman Suliman Carrim is now scheduled to testify before the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry in Pretoria on the 29th of this month.
He was due to appear before the commission today, but he allegedly suffered a heart attack earlier this week.
Alleged political fixer Brown Mogotsi implicated Carrim in corruption.
Evidence leader Advocate Mahlape Sello says, “Mr Chaskalson [Advocate Matthew Chaskalson] advised that Mr Carrim is still in hospital. He, Mr Chaskalson, has been in communication with Mr Carrim’s legal representatives. As things stand, Mr Chaskalson wants to stand him down to the 29th of April this year.”
