Cross-examination of one of the accused in Meyiwa trial set to resume

The cross-examination of one of the accused in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial will resume in the High Court in Pretoria this morning.

On Wednesday, the state prosecutor rejected claims that they were subjecting Bongani Ntanzi to repetitive questioning.

This is after the defence argued that the repetition was a tactic to exhaust Ntanzi.

The accused, along with four others, are on trial for killing the former Bafana Bafana captain in October 2014.

Ntanzi started to testify in February; he is facing intense cross-examination from the state prosecutor George Baloyi.
