A Limpopo musician, Lehlogonolo ‘Shebe Maburna‘ Chauke, is today expected to make his first appearance in the Polokwane regional court for a trial date.
Shebe Maburna had his matter referred to the regional court after being denied bail by the magistrate’s court last month. He is facing nine charges, including attempted murder, assault and malicious damage to property, amongst others.
The regional court is expected to determine a trial date for a “Lekompo” musician, Shebe Maburna.

His three attempts to apply for bail were unsuccessful. Shebe Maburna allegedly shot and wounded one of his followers in Ladanna, Polokwane, in October last year.
The firearm used in the alleged shooting has not been found. He’s also facing multiple charges such as assault and theft. He has been in custody since his arrest in November last year.
