The identities of the victims of the recent N1 collision in Limpopo have been released. Police say the deceased were killed in a head-on collision between two sedans in Botlokwa on Friday evening.
David Mabeba was a police sergeant stationed at Sunnyside, Pretoria. The other two are former police Captain Obed Tshikudo, formerly attached to Westernburg police and a female passenger identified as Rachel Mamphwe.
Police Spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba says Commissioner Thembi Hadebe has sent her condolences to the bereaved families.
“Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, has conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, friends, and colleagues of the deceased. We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of lives in this devastating accident. We extend our sincere condolences to the families, friends, and colleagues affected by this tragedy,” says Ledwaba.
