Entries for the 2025 Comrades Marathon are to be re-opened for a limited period. The Comrades Marathon Association’s (CMA) new board has announced that a limited number of 1 000 entries will be made available to athletes on a first-come-first-served basis.
The CMA says this is due to high demand and with the aim of putting runners first. The previous entry process was closed when the entry cap of 23 000 entries was reached.
The new entries open at 8 o’clock tomorrow morning and close at midnight on Monday, 9 December, or as soon as the entry cap of 1 000 is reached.
