Preparations for the Carling Knockout Cup final between Magesi FC and Mamelodi Sundowns at the Free State stadium in Bloemfontein are on track.

Magesi FC are still new in the PSL calendar after recent promotion to the senior league.

They made their intentions clear when they knocked out Orlando Pirates last month on their way to the finals.

Mangaung Metro spokesperson Qondile Khedama says the city is ready to welcome the two teams and supporters to witness another soccer spectacle.

“All the fanatics must be calm and enjoy themselves. They must also interact and respect the law. They must be able to talk to police. the other thing is the precinct around the stadium including the mall itself will be surrounded, will be closed. Those who want to come around they must just be careful that they be directed by traffic officers”
