Several Banyana nominations for CAF awards

University of Western Cape’s head coach, who is also Banyana Banyana’s assistant coach, Thinasonke Mbuli has been nominated for the CAF Women’s Coach of the Year award, while Banyana Banyana is nominated for the National Team of the Year accolade.

Banyana’s star players, Thembi Kgatlana and Jermaine Seoposenwe are nominated in the CAF Women’s Player of the Year category.

In the Club of the Year, Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies and the University of the Western Cape got the nod.

Amogelang Motau of Banyana Banyana and UWC, is nominated for the Inter-Club Player of the Year, Nthabiseng Majiya of Sundowns is in the Young Player of the Year category.

And goalkeeper Andile Dlamini got the nod in the goalkeeper of the year nominations.
