Ntanzi’s childhood friend continues with testimony in Meyiwa trial

Bongani Ntanzi’s childhood friend, Mandlenkosi “Shoes” Zondo, continues with his testimony on Wednesday morning on behalf of Ntanzi – accused number two in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial at the Pretoria High Court.

During his testimony, he denied maintaining contact with Ntanzi following his arrest in June 2020.

Ntanzi and four co-accused are on trial for the 2014 murder of former Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa, who was shot and killed at singer Kelly Khumalo’s mother’s house in Vosloorus, east of Johannesburg.

Zondo rejected claims that he attempted to call or communicate with Ntanzi afterwards.
