Case against Pule Mabe, co-accused postponed to 28 May 2026

The matter against former African National Congress (ANC) national spokesperson Pule Mabe and six of his co-accused has been postponed to the 28th of May 2026.

Mabe and three others will hear the outcomes of their representations later this month.

Today, the Palm Ridge Magistrates’ court heard that the state was still awaiting the sign-off of the representations from the National Director of Public Prosecutions. Meanwhile, accused one, three, four and six will appear on the 1st of September 2026 for a pre-trial hearing.

The accused are facing charges of fraud and money laundering.

The case stems from a tender awarded by the Gauteng Agricultural Department worth over R27 million to Enviro Mobi in 2017.

Magistrate Soko Rantao postponed the matter.
