IEC set to meet with Jacob Zuma and MKP delegates
The Electoral Commission (IEC) will today meet with a delegation of the Umkhonto we Sizwe Party (MKP), including party leader Jacob Zuma, in Nkandla, northern KwaZulu-Natal.
The engagement forms part of the commission’s ongoing stakeholder outreach in the province in preparation for the local government elections on 4 November 2026.
Last month, the commission held similar engagements with Premier Thami Ntuli, AmaZulu King Misuzulu kaZwelithini, as well as leaders of political and civil society organisations.
