The trial of alleged underworld crime boss, Jerome “Donkie” Booysen and his co-accused is expected to continue in the Western Cape High Court.
Booysen is facing charges, including the killing of steroid smuggler Brian Wainstein in 2017.
A key state witness known as Mr X is currently under cross-examination.
Mr X had earlier said he had paid the former cop on Wainstein’s instructions; the aim was to ensure the disappearance of dockets relating to Wainstein.
