Rescue teams in the process of extracting victims.
The death toll in the building collapse in Ormonde, south of Johannesburg, has risen to nine.
The Johannesburg Emergency Services says its team has managed to locate the third person from the rubble of the collapsed building, and rescue teams are currently engaged in the extraction process.
Two bodies were retrieved from the rubble this morning.
The City of Johannesburg says the building was constructed in clear violation of the city’s by-laws, as proper procedures were not followed.
