Sundowns were the overwhelming favourites going into this match but it was not one way traffic with Gallants also looking for an early goal.
It was still goalless at half-time.
Sundowns were awarded a penalty after a handball in the danger area in the 50th minute.
Brazilian Lucas Ribeiro make no mistake from the spot sending keeper Washington Arubi the wrong way.
Then Sundowns put the issue beyond doubt late in injury time with substitute Neo Maema finding the back of the net.
The final whistle blows! The Brazilians are through to the final! One more step to glory! 🏆
