Officials from the Hawks in Mpumalanga have arrived at the house of a Barberton pastor linked to a multi-million rand fraud scheme in the provincial Education Department. More than 40 high profile individuals and companies are linked to allegations that they defrauded the department of R114 million.
The case dates back to 2018. The operation is being carried out in four different provinces and is set to proceed to other locations.
