Bafana Bafana will face Panama in two international friendly matches to be played in South Africa next month as part of the national team’s preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The matches will be staged between the 27th and 31st of March 2026.

Panama, currently ranked 33rd in the world, are considered to provide high-quality opposition.

At the World Cup, South Africa will be in Group A where they will meet Mexico, South Korea, and the winner of UEFA Playoff D, which comprises of the Czech Republic, Republic of Ireland, Denmark or North Macedonia.

The FIFA World Cup will be hosted by the United States of America, Canada and Mexico from 11 June to 19 July 2026.

Venues, kick-off times and ticketing information about the international friendly matches will be communicated in the coming days.
