Government officials’ visit communities affected by recent floods in Limpopo.
The recent floods in Limpopo have left a trail of destruction, with deaths and damage to homes and infrastructure. The most affected places are in the Mopani, Vhembe, and Sekhukhune districts.
Flood victims are trying to rebuild their homes.
In Tswinga village near Thohoyandou, two people who were in a bakkie were swept away while trying to cross a submerged bridge. A five-year-old boy was also swept away and over 40 houses flattened in Mbaula village outside Giyani.
