Phala Phala theft trial to continue on Wednesday in Modimolle

The trial regarding the theft of 580,000 US dollars at President Cyril Ramaphosa’s Phala Phala farm in Bela-Bela will continue at the Modimolle Magistrate Court in Limpopo.

Accused number one, Immanuela David and his co-accused, who are siblings, Floriana and Ndilinasho Joseph, allegedly stole about R10 million in US dollars stuffed in a sofa at the farm.

A cellphone data analyst testified that data shows the three accused were at the farm on the day of the break-in.

The court also heard that David travelled from Cape Town to Bela-Bela a day before the theft.

The data analyst is expected to continue his testimony tomorrow.
