Pirates claim third seasonal trophy with 2-0 Carling Cup victory

Orlando Pirates have won their third trophy of the season. Pirates beat All Stars team 2-0 to be crowned champions of the Carling Cup exhibition match.

Every season the winners of the Carling Knockout face a selection side made of players from various Betway Premiership teams and development players from the DSTV Diski Challenge.

Pirates played a match without nine of their Bafana Bafana players who are in camp at the High Performance Centre as the national team is preparing for the Africa Cup of Nations tournament. There were no goals scored at half-time.
