Case of Limpopo man accused of murdering a rape victim postponed

The murder case against a 27 year-old man accused of killing a rape victim in a case involving a self-proclaimed pastor, has been postponed to Tuesday next week in the Mutale magistrate’s court outside Thohoyandou in Limpopo.

The accused, Andani Madzhie, has been charged with the murder of Ndinainwi Mabuke at Thengwe village last month.

Madzhie, who made his second court appearance since his arrest, has appointed a private lawyer.

26-year old Mabuke was killed before she could testify in the rape trial against Phathutshedzo Sikhuba, popularly known as pastor Muritho.

Sikhuba allegedly raped Mabuke last year while they were in Cape Town.
