DA officially tables no confidence motion in Lesufi

Democratic Alliance (DA) Gauteng leader Solly Msimanga has officially tabled a motion of no confidence in Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi in the Provincial Legislature.

The motion follows the DA’s claims that Lesufi has failed to provide effective governance, create jobs, ensure safety, and promote economic opportunities in the province.

Msimanga pointed to the Public Protector’s report, which found that the establishment of the Gauteng Crime Wardens or Amapanyaza was unlawful.
