National 200m champion, Sinesipho Dambile, finished 8th in the men’s 200m final, this afternoon. His clocked a time of 20.23 seconds. American Noah Lyle won gold in 19.52 seconds, with countryman Kenny Bednarek second and Bryan Levell of Jamaica third.

Paris Olympic Games gold medallist, Letsile Tebogo of Botswana, could only finish fourth.
In the women’s javelin, Paris Olympic silver medallist, Jo-Ane du Plessis, just sneaked into the final.
Her distance of 61.38m placed her 5th in her group and 10th overall.
