Mamelodi Sundowns celebrates after victory
Mamelodi Sundowns went top of the Betway Premiership log for the first time this season, after registering a 3-nil win over the struggling Magesi FC in Atteridgeville in the only fixture played this weekend.
Magesi played the entire second half with ten men after Samuel Darpoh was sent off after a second bookable offence. With this victory, Sundowns went top of the Betway Premiership log table, leapfrogging both Sekhukhune United and Kaizer Chiefs.
Amakhosi will host Babina Noko at the FNB Stadium in the top-of-the-table clash on Tuesday evening. Nineteen -year- old Kutlwano Letlhaku broke the deadlock in the 22nd minute, with his first goal of the season.
After the red card, Sundowns made their numerical advantage count with Iqraam Rayners making it 2-nil for the home side early in the second half. Then it did not take long for Rayners to score his brace. Sundowns have now collected fourteen points after six matches, with four wins and two draws.
Masandawana deliver a strong performance with 3️⃣ goals at Lucas Moripe. 🙌
