Boks are ready to restore the faith playing against Australia in CT

Springbok captain Jesse Kriel says he and the rest of the team can’t wait to show their true worth, and they are counting down the hours to Saturday afternoon’s Rugby Championship match against Australia in Cape Town.

Last weekend’s defeat to the Wallabies in Johannesburg left the team and the supporters in shock and the Boks are determined to restore faith in the team. After five days of introspection, analysis and advice from all corners of the social media universe, the hour of reckoning is around the corner.

Kriel says, “Everyone is itching to get on the field and like I said earlier that the great thing about the sport is that you do get another shot the next weekend. So ja, everyone is really excited to get back out there and people say there is a lot more pressure on us, but there is pressure every week. So the guys are used to these kinds of situations and we are excited to get out there and play rugby for South Africa.”

Kick-off at the Cape Town Stadium is at 17:10.
