Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) in the Western Cape says additional train services will be made available for spectators attending the Rugby Championship test match between the Springboks and the Wallabies at the DHL Stadium in Cape Town on Saturday.
PRASA Spokesperson Andiswa Makanda says the services will run across the Southern and Cape Flats corridors for a fare of R20 per return ticket upon providing a valid match-day ticket.
“Normal train fares will apply for the normal train service across Cape Town. Spectators are encouraged to arrive early to purchase their return train tickets at the stations and are further advised to adhere to the train schedules to ensure timely arrival and departure from the stadium. Commuters who wish to park their vehicles at our facilities are welcome to do so at a cost of R50 per vehicle at the participating stations.”
