Over 35 000 tickets sold for Springboks vs Georgia match

Over 35 000 tickets have been sold for the Springboks’ match against Georgia at the Mbombela Stadium in Mpumalanga on Saturday. Stadium management is confident all measures are in place for spectators to have an enjoyable experience.

The stadium will be painted in green and gold, as supporters cheer on the World Champions.

Spectators are advised to use park and ride facilities to the stadium.

“We are looking forward to the match tomorrow. We are expecting 35 000 people in the stadium. It is critical for people to plan their day and come early, don’t come in just before the game to avoid being stuck in traffic, come and enjoy a beer in the beer garden and come early so that when the teams start warming up an hour and a half before the game so that you are in the stadium. Sit comfortably, enjoy yourself and take in a whole experience because it is a special occasion. The pitch looks lovely the dressing of the stadium is amazing, come experience the whole day, don’t just rush to the game and put yourself into unnecessary tension,” says stadium manager Roelf Kotze.

Mbombela Stadium is nestled within the Mataffin community and locals can’t wait for kick-off.

“I am very excited to see them in action again. I believe the last time they won, so I am very excited to see them. I could not watch the last time but definitely I will be there live to see them in actions,” says a supporter.
