Limpopo Premier Dr. Phophi Ramathuba says infrastructure backlogs have slowed down economic growth and service delivery.
Ramathuba has also issued a strong warning to developers who have not met their set targets in road and water infrastructure.
The provincial Infrastructure Workshop is under way in Polokwane.

Members of the Executive Council (MECs), Heads of Departments and other stakeholders are attending.
“The mere fact that I can still come and tell you and convene you is because I believe in you, so take this opportunity as an opportunity to work together so that we fix. When we say we are building a clinic and we are giving it twelve months let it be twelve months. When we say a school is six months, let it be six months. It starts by putting capable people. Appoint capable people,” says Ramathuba.
