Gauteng police are investigating a case of murder and attempted murder following a shooting incident in Centurion on Thursday afternoon which left two people dead and two others injured.
According to the police, the victims were entering the Blue Valley Golf Country Estate in their car when unknown men fired at them.
Police spokesperson Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi says, “It is reported that, the four victims were entering the estate, driving a Toyota vehicle when two unknown men suddenly appeared riding bikes and they reportedly climbed off the bikes and started shooting at the occupants of the Toyota vehicle before fleeing the scene. The driver and passenger sitting in front were declared dead while the other two sustained injuries and were taken to hospital. The police will be investigating a case of murder with two counts and attempted murder with two counts.”
