Mulilo Renewable Energy is investing about R13 billion in solar, wind and transmission projects in the Northern Cape, creating over 2,000 jobs and boosting local development.
Independent Power Producer, Mulilo Renewable Energy, which was part of the Northern Cape Investment and Jobs conference this week, says it has already started investing billions in the province.
The Independent Power Producer, based in De Aar, says the company has created over 2,000 jobs for locals and anticipates future investment opportunities.

“We are currently under construction for three solar PV projects and one wind project as well, and we are also building a main transmission substation which is basically infrastructure that is linked to this project and all this projects are going to reach commercial date, in the next year or so, and the total investment is approximately R13 billion,” says De Aar.
