Four people have been killed in a shooting incident at Walmer township in Gqeberha, in the Eastern Cape.
Police spokesperson Nobuntu Gantana says officers responded to a shooting complaint at Airport Valley in the early hours of Friday, where four bodies were found inside a shack at Ndlovu Street.
“The victims include two brothers aged 20 and 22, and two young women aged 17 and 19. All four sustained fatal gunshot wounds, mostly to the head. The motive for the attack is still unknown, and no arrests have been made”.
A case of four counts of murder has been opened, and Eastern Cape police are urging anyone with information to come forward as investigations continue.
