National Coloured Congress MP Fadiel Adams.
National Coloured Congress (NCC) MP Fadiel Adams is expected to apply for bail in the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday after being arrested last week.
He is facing charges of fraud and defeating the ends of justice.
It’s alleged that he interviewed people believed to have been the hitmen in the murder of African National Congress (ANC) Youth League (ANCYL) Secretary-General Sindiso Magaqa in prison while their trial was still underway.
Adams is a Member of Parliament on the portfolio committee on police.
Magaqa’s murder is one of the high-profile cases handled by the KwaZulu-Natal Political Killings Task Team (PKTT) of the South African Police Service (SAPS).
