Eastern Cape police have arrested two suspects in connection with the murder of a 75-year-old woman in Luthuthu locality in Ngcobo. It is alleged that Nokhansala Sidiki was viciously attacked by a mob on Sunday, after being accused of practicing witchcraft.
Provincial police spokesperson Brigadier Nobuntu Gantana says two female suspects are in custody, while the investigation continues.
“A 26-year-old female and a 28-year-old female are currently in police custody. More arrests are imminent. The investigation continues. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or report anonymously via the MySAPS app. All information will be treated confidentially.”
