Eskom has announced they have implemented loadshedding from 17h30 this afternoon.
In a statement, the power utility says Stage 3 power cuts will be implemented until further notice.
Eskom adds that they encountered another temporary setback but will update the public tomorrow.

Following over 20 days of uninterrupted electricity supply, Eskom has encountered another temporary setback.

Earlier this month, Eskom announced the implementation of Stage 3 loadshedding after about 10 months of non-interrupted power supply countrywide.
