Four suspects arrested for Constable Sephooa’s murder in Ficksburg

Four suspects have been arrested in connection with the killing of police officer Constable Justice Sephooa. Sephooa was attached at Ficksburg Crime Intelligence unit, in the Free State.

Hawks spokesperson, Katlego Mogale says the four Lesotho nationals who are in South Africa illegally were arrested by Free State multi-disciplinary team led by the Hawks following an intense investigation.

The suspects were located and arrested in Stilfontein, North West and transferred to Bethlehem.

Mogale says on January 21 two men arrived at the police officer’s home. One of them shot at the officer twice.

All four suspects will appear in the Ficksburg Magistrates’ Court tomorrow facing charges of murder.

Sephooa’s funeral service was held over the weekend.
