Rapper Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes.
Two of the five men accused of the murder of Kiernan AKA Forbes and his friend, say delays in the extradition application of the two co-accused who were arrested in eSwatini is delaying justice.
The two accused, Mziwethemba Gwabeni and Lindokuhle Ndimande, appeared in the Durban Magistrate’s Court to apply for bail based on new facts.
The two accused were denied bail along with three others.
Forbes and his friend Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane were gunned down outside a restaurant at Durban in February 2023.
Meanwhile, in an affidavit, Ndimande also told the court that his family is struggling financially as his taxi was involved in an accident and it has not been fixed because he is behind bars.
Ndimande says their case is delaying as it has not been moved to the regional court or high court. The bail application continues.
