New Year’s resolutions, they fly around bright and loud just like the fireworks that accompany this time of the year.

One resolution that gets dusted off with metronomic regularity is fitness and weight loss and a healthy lifestyle.

But this one is not as easy as it sounds to adhere to.

Life and its temptations get in the way. But with plan and the right support, it is doable. And much of it starts with what we eat.

But it is not as easy as cutting calories, but getting the balance right.

Natural Health Practitioner, Michelle Campbell Smith says, “Definitely, stop using the word diet because that denotes something that you are going to do for a short period of time and it’s probably not sustainable. So, I like to use the word lifestyle. So, switch it up and think lifestyle, something that is sustainable.”
