Jhb Water repairs to affect several areas on Jan 25 and 26

Johannesburg Water says some of its customers should brace themselves for low pressure to no water supply between January 25 and 26, 2025.

Rand Water will be conducting a two-day repair to a leak on their O2 pipeline.

This will affect water supply in the Palmiet System, which supplies Johannesburg Water’s Sandton and Midrand systems.

Johannesburg Water’s spokesperson, Nombuso Tshabalala outlines areas that will be affected.

“Johannesburg Water’s areas that will be impacted include the Sandton systems, as well as the Midrand systems, including Klipfontein View, Allandale, President Park, Halfway House and Diepsloot. This serves as an early reminder for residents who will be impacted to plan for the storage of water ahead of the maintenance.”
